November 2010 sees a complete redesign for Asylum Moon. We have moved away from flash content in our site and most customer websites because of the long standing feud between apple, and adobe. This feud makes flash content invisible to the nearly 59,550,000 iphones and 4,000,000 ipads sold worldwide. Flash has never been a great performer on mobile devices, so we have been fully implementing ajax, and HTML5. These combinations can provide an interaction similar to flash without any additional browser plugins. We have also implemented a full mobile site as an example of what is possible to our clients to see it in action grab your mobile and load www.AsylumMoon.com. This automatic mobile switching can accommodate eCommerce, or regular business websites and provides a very fast, bandwidth friendly mobile site. In addition to the bandwidth saving features, the site can also function as a full native web app on the iphone/ipad. This means when you bookmark the site to your device the site functions as a local app without safari! Anyway, hope you like the new site, and the possibilities the new technology will bring to your websites. We also have a mobile app that allows us to update our CMS from any mobile device, to make updates to your site from anywhere, anytime.
